Extremely readable, this book is a treasure trove of useful tips for anyone moving country, or indeed just moving home. Writing from experience, Sara details every pitfall possible and how to avoid them. The inclusion of delightful photos personalises the book. I was very impressed. I wasn’t expecting to learn so much! The subject could have been quite dry, but the experiences you added and the way you write made it very easy to read. I finished it in one sitting. Great work!

I love it. Honestly there is so much to take from it and, between your advice and the numerous life stories, it was so comforting; like I was being talked to and learning, rather than being talked at. I feel much more confident about the idea of relocation after reading this guide.

I am kind of a freak about organisation so the prospect of cleaning, organising, and boxing up my flat is pretty exciting for me, but your list of ‘pain points’ were things that I hadn’t considered.
I’ve read the chapter on pet relocation about ten times over as moving my cat is probably my greatest worry. Not only how to transport him, but also how to make him feel comfortable and secure in our new home that will also be completely new to me.
I have also bookmarked Chapter 16’s ‘Final Countdown’ to help prepare myself practically and mentally. I’m really thankful to have this information laid out so accessibly!

This is the perfect book for everyone who’d like to do the step of starting a new life and is overwhelmed by all the tasks that need to be done. Sara is giving you a hand in facing all those challenges and does her best in calming you down and structuring your relocation or working abroad. I’m in love with those lists she created, resources, required reading, apps you can’s soooo helpful and makes it so much easier to find your way through the bureaucracy jungle. I would love to have had this book before I started my digital nomad life. This lady did a good job.
